HOW IT WORKS

Digestive enzymes are responsible for the breakdown of macromolecules present in foods (proteins, carbohydrates and fatty acids) into smaller molecules, thus facilitating their absorption by the intestine, as well as allowing the micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) to be free and available for the absorption process.


Each Zymelift enzyme acts on a certain macronutrient:


AMYLASE AND BACTERIAL AMYLASE

Enzymes that aid in the breaking of the starch, turning it into maltose and glucose.


ALPHA-GALACTOSIDASE

An enzyme that helps break down simple and complex carbohydrates (oligosaccharides and polysaccharides) present in broccoli, peas, beans, and other foods.


XYLANASE

An enzyme that assists in the breakdown of hemicelluloses, one of the main components of plant cell walls.


LACTASE

An enzyme that helps in the breakdown of lactose (milk sugar), transforming it into glucose and galactose.


CELLULASE

An enzyme that helps break down the insoluble cellulose fiber (the most abundant component of the cell wall of plants).


PECTINASE

An enzyme that helps in the breakdown of pectin, one of the main components of the cell wall of plants.


MALTASE

An enzyme that helps in the breakdown of maltose (cereal sugar), turning it into glucose.


LIPASE

An enzyme that acts on lipids, transforming them into fatty acids and glycerol.


INVERTASE

Enzyme that helps sucrose break (refined sugar), turning it into fructose and glucose.


HEMICELLULASE

A group of enzymes capable of digesting hemicelluloses (polysaccharides that together with cellulose and pectin form the cell wall of plants).


GLYCOAMYLASE

Enzyme that assists in the breakdown of starch, transforming it into glucose.


PROTEASE

An enzyme that helps break down proteins.


ACID STABLE PROTEASE

Enzyme resistant to acidic pH that assists in the breakdown of proteins.


BROMELAIN

An enzyme that helps break down proteins.

HOW TO USE

It is recommended to dissolve 3g (1 sachet) in approximately 100ml of liquid or 100g of food, or as directed by a nutritionist or physician.
